Our Story:

Pog Apparel launched in the Fall, 2008. Our mission is multifold. And it’s more about the people, than the profit. The products we offer are of the finest quality fabrics and craftsmanship available anywhere. Their makers are from all across Ireland and the UK. Most are small businesses or independent designers 0r weavers who share our vision and enthusiasm about offering their products to the world.

The fashion industry would have you believe that only New York, or France or Italy offer the best ready-to-wear collections. And that only their aesthetic is valid. Large apparel merchants want you to buy into their “quantity is more important than quality” attitude about your wardrobe. On both counts, we disagree.

We represent a changing world. One which recognizes the need to reconsider a culture hell bent on unbridled consumption.One which understands there are talented designers and crafters the world over. One which embraces new technology to bring those who make or design fine garments, jewelry, handbags or the like much closer to those who wear or use their creations. We believe as reluctant “middle men”, we can make an honest living by helping those who seek apparel that will last a lifetime find what they’re looking for. And in the process, we’ll help ensure designers and artisan thrive. We trust that when you return to our site again, it will not be to replace the sweater you bought from us this year, but to find that garment or accessory of enduring quality you just can’t find elsewhere.
