Donegal Tweed Herringbone Waistcoat
Depending on what side of "the pond" you're on, you may refer to this as a vest, or a waistcoat, or even a gilet. Call it what you like, it is handsome, and finely tailored from Ireland's finest 100% wool Donegal tweed herringbone, front to back.
Lined with satin viscose,this "vest" features two faux pockets, and v-slits at the sides. The five buttons are a complementary deep wine color.
There was a time when such a garment was to be worn under a coat, but about 100 years ago, men started wearing just the vest over a shirt...and the trend stuck.
